It’s not easy being green people would have you believe, however nowadays it’s not all about Hessian sacks and tie dye, as thanks to the clever guys at Modo Eco, going green has just got easier.
For the first time ever on the high street, Modo Eco has teamed up with Vision Express to produce a range of stylishly gorgeous frames made purely from recycled materials. For every frame that’s bought they will plant a tree and if you bring in your old pair they’ll send them off to the charity Vision Aid, which helps people with poor sight all over the world.
So, from the 29th September Vision Express Stores across the country will be holding an amnesty where you can pop in your old frames and then get up to £60 off a new pair.
So before you hit the shops treat yourself to a shopping spree with a difference it’s like humanitarian work - without the work part, it’s an absolute winner.
GREEN HAPPENINGS

Modo Eco aren’t the only one’s caring for the environment as Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson will be debuting her eco friendly Spring/Summer 2011 range of clothing for People Tree at Prince Charles A Garden Party To Make a Difference. The Garden Party concept is an eco festival spanning over 12 days, it’s a great way to learn about alternative ecologically friendly ways to live your life from food work and fashion.
